From classic brown tabbies to striking silver coats, from solid whites to dramatic colorpoints, the breed offers something for every aesthetic preference. At SiberianSnow Cattery, we breed for health and temperament first, but we're also proud of the beautiful variety in our kittens.
The Siberian's triple coat is one of their most distinctive features – a dense undercoat, longer guard hairs, and a water-resistant outer layer that developed over centuries in the harsh Russian climate. This magnificent coat requires surprisingly little maintenance compared to other long-haired breeds, though regular brushing helps prevent matting and reduces shedding.
The photos in our gallery show our cats and kittens in their natural environment – our family home in Austin, Texas. Our cats aren't kept in cages or separate facilities; they're part of our daily life. They lounge on our furniture, play with our children, and even get along with our golden retriever Max. This home-raised approach produces well-socialized kittens who are comfortable with household sounds, different people, and other animals.
We love sharing photos of our cats because we're genuinely proud of them – not just their beauty, but their personalities. Each cat in our breeding program has been selected for temperament as much as appearance.
